By using PeloChallenge you consent to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy. Your continued use of PeloChallenge indicates your acceptance of this policy and any modificationss of it that we might make in the future. All changes that we make to this Privacy Policy will always be published here.

In this Privacy Policy, the following terms are used. PeloChallenge refers to the website pelochallenge.com and all of its related servers and applications. Peloton refers to the website onepeloton.com and any other server or application related to it, which are owned and operated by Peloton Interactive, Inc.

PeloChallenge has no official relationship with, or endorsement from, Peloton. The two web sites and companies are not affiliated.

Throughout this document, the terms "we", "us", and "our" refer to PeloChallenge.

What information do we collect?

When you login to PeloChallenge, you provide a username and password. This is the same username and password that you use to access Peloton. This gives us access to your Peloton profile. We collect the following information from that profile:

  • Email Address
  • First and Last Name
  • Leaderboard Name
  • Workout history with metrics
  • Authentication Token

Workout history can include workouts from the bike, treadmill, iOS application, Android application, and any other platform where Peloton services are offered.

PeloChallenge does not have access to your billing information. And even if we did, we wouldn't use it because that wouldn't be very cool of us.

When do we collect information?

We know some of you love changing your Leaderboard name as often as you change your workout towels. Therefore, each time you login to PeloChallenge we read your Leaderboard Name to ensure it is always displayed accurately on PeloChallenge. We also update the Authentication Token to ensure we can synchronize your ride data automatically.

Periodically, the PeloChallenge robots will talk to the Peloton robots and ask for your most recent rides. This happens multiple times during each day to ensure our leaderboards are up to date.

How do we use your information?

We use your First and Last Name, as well as Leaderboard Name, to display leaderboards on PeloChallenge. We also use your email to ensure account uniqueness on our system. Note that if you login to PeloChallenge using an email and create a challenge, your email will be listed as the manager for that challenge.

Periodically we may send you an email with account related notices. For example, if we cannot synchronize your rides, we may send you an email letting you know as much.

Do we share your information with anybody?

We'll make this easy: nope.

How do we protect your information?

All data sent from your web browser to PeloChallenge is encrypted using industry standard SSL certificates. Likewise all data sent from PeloChallenge to Peloton is also encrypted using SSL certificates.

Do we use cookies?

We use cookies to fuel up before every ride. We also use browser cookies to remember your last login on PeloChallenge and prevent you from entering your username and password each time you visit the site.
